VARIATION ORDER MANAGER
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Variation Order Manager manages all aspects of economic quotation during the execution of the project and works closely with the Core Team.
Main responsibilities are the following:
- Management of Billing and SAL process (including Partners in case of RTI/ATI)
- Management and control of Field Subcontractor activities and related financials (SAL)
- Support PMs for Domestic Contract on "Executive Project" phase (quantity calculation and pricing)
- Possible verification of accounting during the bid phase
- Management of the project economics documents such as:
- Bill of quantities of all technologies involved
- Work breakdown structure
- New prices
- Payment terms
- Subdivision of amounts within ATI/RTI
- Calculation of executive planning costs.
Educational Requirements
- Technical diploma or equivalent working experience in an equivalent role.
Essential Knowledge / Experience
- Project Management
- Proficient user of Word, Excel & STR Program
- Working knowledge & understanding of RFI contracts used in signaling, systems & infrastructure projects
- RFI price list regarding Signalling, TLC, Mechanical Plants and LFM.
- Manage with the bill of quantities (Computi metrici estimativi)
- Excellent knowledge of wayside technical drawings
