 Test & Commissioning Technician, Bologna

 

Your role

As a Test & Commissioning Technician you will execute test and commissioning activities on field in support to one or several Projects.

 

Main responsibilities

 

  • Execute testing activities:
    • in support to one or several Projects on railway signalling systems under the direction of his / her hierarchy
    • according to the testing procedure / documentation and following Subsystem T&C Engineer a/o Leader instructions
  • Ensure defects identification and correction (trouble shooting)
  • Check that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
  • Replace defective equipment and ensure its repair in accordance with the procedures in force
  • In the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project, and ensure that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context
  • Deliver the committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs and Deadlines and in compliance with Alstom policies, local standards, and regulations (EHS and Railway Safety)

 

Qualifications

  • Technical bachelor's degree in electronics or electricity or equivalent experience in a function in the industrial environment
  • Previous T&C or Maintenance experience for Railway Signaling is an asset.
  • Team working/problem solving/networking attitudes
  • Available to travelling all around Italy - 90% of the time
  • 90% of working time on field
  • Flexibility for turn over day/night and weekend when needed
