Traffic Management System is a key technology in the railway signaling business, providing a set of advanced features for railway traffic automation and regulation.

Most of the european railway operators are investing to create national/regional railway control centers. ALSTOM is one of the world wide leader in this market, since it has been awarded with some of the most strategical bids lately. The variety and complexity covers almost any request coming from the world of traffic control centers.

The Project Manager will be in charge of the following responsibilities:

  • Drive project / program execution, to maximize the results with respect to cash and margin
  • whilst delivering on time, in conformity with the contract / Program Charter according to Customer /Platform expectations
  • Constantly seek and propose to the Customer Director / Platform additional opportunities in the frame of the contract / Program Charter;
  • ensures Alstom Transport legal and contractual rights are protected.

Educational and professional requirements:

  • University Degree in Management or Electronics Engineering or Computing Science
  • Project management background level depending on the complexity of the Project/Program
  • Good knowledge of railway products and systems
  • General Knowledge of Software Programs Implementation
  • Conflict management and interpersonal skills
  • Team spirit approach and goodcommunication skills
  • Communication skills to get collaboration from matrix organisation involved
  • Anticipation, clear reporting
  • Leadership, initiative and decision minded
  • Agile Methodologies Knowledge
  • English knowledge, French a plus
