We are seeking for a candidate to be integrated in the System Engineering team. This team has the purpose to analyze the input needs (external or internal) and requirements, and design the solution by re-using existing solutions (contracts context) or by developing a new solution or adapting an existing one (program context). To formalize and maintain the system specifications (operational, functional, and constructional), application rules, and supporting processes descriptions and their associated verification, validation and assessments.
The successful candidate will be responsible to build and maintain the System integration environment and to support the System integration activities.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of cloud technology: The candidate shall have basic understanding of cloud technology, including the fundamental principles of how the cloud works, cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), networks and data management
- Cloud configuration skills: The candidate shall be able to configure and manage the cloud environment. This may include creating virtual machine instances, storing and retrieving data, creating networks, and managing environment security
- Cyber security: The candidate shall have basic knowledge of major cybersecurity tools and techniques, such as security key management and network security
- IT knowledge: The candidate shall have basic knowledge of computer science, including basic network concepts, servers, storage, databases, and cybersecurity
- Programming skills: The candidate shall have at a basic understanding of one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Windows/Linux scripting, which may be necessary for process automation or the development of specific software
- Analytical skills: The candidate shall have analytical skills to solve configuration problems, interpret system logs, monitor performance, and find solutions to improve system efficiency
- Good communication and interpersonal skills: The candidate shall be able to communicate clearly and diplomatically with various teams and negotiate solutions and compromises when necessary
- Curiosity: The candidate shall have a strong curiosity for technology and the motivation to learn new techniques, tools, and programming languages
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluent in English.
Knowledge of the railway industry and its specific needs is considered as a plus, but not essential.
