We are looking for a SERVICES MAINTEINANCE ENGINEER for our Site in Bologna.
If you are passionate about technology, digital innovation, and want to grow in the railway industry, this is your opportunity! You will contribute to the development of digital services and maintenance strategies for advanced signalling systems, working in an international and dynamic environment.
What You Will Do:
As a Service Engineer, you will support two key areas:
Integrated Service Readiness (ISR) Activities
- Support the review and improvement of maintenance manuals.
- Assist in defining maintenance plans and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis.
- Contribute to obsolescence management and system update strategies.
- Help define training plans for internal teams and customers.
- Participate in RAM data collection processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Digital Services & Control Room Development
- Assist in the development and configuration of our Control Room and related digital services.
- Contribute to software specifications using agile methodologies.
- Help improve internal technical assistance processes through new digital solutions (e.g., documentation management, reporting tools).
- Support the preparation of technical documentation for digital services and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate on defining the roadmap for digital services and innovation.
Additional Opportunities:
- Participate in tenders by analyzing technical requirements and preparing documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve diagnostic tools and maintainability requirements.
- Work on innovative projects involving cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
What We Are Looking For:
- Degree in Engineering (Electronics, IT, Telecommunications).
- Basic knowledge of digital services and web applications.
- Familiarity with Windows OS and MS Office Suite.
- Good English communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn.
(Previous experience or internships in engineering or digital systems will be considered a plus, but are not mandatory.)
Nice-to-have skills:
- Cloud computing, data analytics, machine learning.
- Cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Knowledge of railway industry or signalling systems.
