As a Safety Assurance Manager you will manage, perform and ensure the activities releated to Safety assurance in the railway signalling product development, with particular focus in trackside products and object controllers
Your Challenges:
- Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the products developmentproject as per Safety process defined in Alstom Signaling Safety Instruction
- Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspective
- Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning
- Coordinate the Safety Assurance Engineers involved in the product development
- Build the Safety Reports and the Safety Cases
- Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the product development
- Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews
- Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors
- Coordinate Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project
- Act as a Safety Leader and follow the Alstom process to properly contain and solve any safety issue detected on field
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (preferably Electronic Enginnering) or similar
- Knowledge concerning the Cenelec Standards for Railway Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc) and safety methodology & concepts/principles
- Successful experience in RAMS / Functional Safety Assurance is an asset
- English operational in reading and writing for technical documentation
- Capacity to manage multisite and complex programs
