Purpose of the Job

Industrialize the project ensuring that the products (Alstom generic products, project specific products, installation materials) -

including notably documentation and certificates- are delivered to the project stakeholders

(Installation, Engineering, Customer, ...) according to project QCD commitments.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term contract

Mission & Responsibilities

For all material of project PBS/BoM, the PrSCM must:

• Ensure the proper set-up of Project Industrialization process, and manage the corresponding

deliverables in QCD. Leading Unit PrSCM/PrIDM coordinates with Participating Units PrSCM  or PrIDM.

• On top of Industrialization Process contribute to the maximization of usage of standardised product inside the project material delivery scope.

•  Optimize the logistic flow strategy to reduce end to end material LT and cost (from Supplier to Customer)

• Be proactive on BoM availability and associated obsolescence management plan (under Project responsibility)

• Drive the demand to Industrial Operations and delivery in QCD the Industrial Work package

from all TIS Regional Center involved, in liaison with other Industrial Operation teams who

lead the execution of following tasks: supervision of material procurement, manufacturing &

testing, Logistics & shipment

•  Guarantee that the level of stock on his/her project fits to the industrial strategy of the Regional

Center/Operations, especially through consistent industrial planning update according to

project context shipment.

•  Supervise cash flow curve related to material orders and minimize the time the material remains in the warehouse. Support project closure to clean and close the Hard Inventory.

•  For Generic Products, ensure the coordination with the PrIDM / PrSCM based on remote/participating units (notably ensures transfer orders are released timely and consistently to Participating Units) 


•  Drive the demand to industrial Operation for his projects and put in place all the actions to reach project milestones:

  • Activate needs in ERP tool
  • Release Purchase request for “BUY product” and work order for “MAKE product”
  • Interface with manufacturing team to set MPS  at least monthly and to attend weekly meeting for the MFG follow-up status.
  • Interface with Procurement / Sourcing to schedule Purchase Order
  • Interface with Logistics to schedule shipping.



For Project specific products (notably on-board cabinets, trackside shelters ..), the PrSCM must:

•  Check completeness and on time availability of the detailed design(under PrEM responsibility)

•  Define industrial scheme and related make or buy strategy with Industrialization and Sourcing department.

•  Coordinate and supervises the Industrial Operations, that is in charge of the following tasks:

supervision of material procurement, products manufacturing and testing, logistic & shipment

•  Ensure that necessary inputs data allowing respect of QCD commitment are consistently and

timely made available by other project contributors (such as BoM, BoQ, requirement

specifications, …). In particular, the PrSCM is involved on SPQD cycle and monitors  that development and Industrialization of new/modified generic Products used on his/her project is coherent with Project Industrial schedule and coordinates mitigation plan when needed


For both generic and project specific products, consolidate requirements and supervises the preparation of Customer Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) work plan

During project period before Revenue Service / Put in Service, coordinate the implementation of any retrofit plan needed for Material part of his / her industrial work package

DFQ / Project Industrial Review milestones following project schedule

Estimate at Completion of material Workpackage

Allocated work package cost monitoring and reporting to projects.

On time material deliveries to the project
