The Program V&V Designer will be in charge of the following responsibilities:

 

- Specifies, designs and develops validation environment & tools (test bench, recording tools, simulated I/O,…)
- Establishes validation procedures and criteria
- Ensures requirements traceability according to product Requirements Management Plan
- Performs validation (runs validation procedures; produces validation results report and associated defects Change Requests)
- Put validation work products under configuration management  according to product Configuration Management Plan-

- Keeps a strong link with the architects and designers through the whole V&V cycle
- Applies processes and standards

- Alerts the V&V Architect for any event that could impact V&V QCD commitments

- Contributes to continuous improvement (ROE, process, …)

 

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Engineering (Electric, Electronic, Computer science or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in integration and validation.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in similar roles in safety critical or mission critical environment (railway, avionics, military or equivalent).
  • Very good knowledge in English language (knowledge of French language is a plus).
  • Leadership, team-working, coordination skills
  • Good level of independency
  • Good focus on respect delivery date

 

Preferable Competencies:

- Good knowledge and use of electronic  laboratory equipment for testing activities;

- Good knowledge of C, C# and Python programming languages;

- Basic knowledge of the regulations CENELEC EN50128, EN50129, EN50159;

- Basic knowledge of the Protocols FSFB2, NVFB2/3, IMP, SNMP, TFTP

- Good Knowledge of the workflow of the Change Request Management (workflow of Change Requests and ClearQuest tool)

- Good Knowledge of the Requirements Engineering and Traceability

- Be able to handle as the author of the documents involved in the activities in question according to ALSTOM documentation management process
