Could you be the full-time hybrid IXL Application Design Engineer in Bologna, BO, IT we’re looking for?
Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in customizing Alstom's Generic Products and Applications to meet project-specific needs, ensuring high-quality hardware design for ACC SML300 and SML400 systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Tender, Verification & Validation, Test & Commissioning), define hardware configurations and BOMs, and support the continuous improvement of design processes and tools, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Identification and analysis of customer requirements during the Tender Phase ,

Development of the Specific Application by customizing Alstom Generic Product and Generic Application functions to meet project needs ,
-
Collaboration with the project team and other functions to follow the system design process from requirements analysis to hardware design ,
-
Definition of BOMs (BoQ) and hardware configurations for cabin equipment based on standard architectures for SML300 and SML400 systems ,
-
Support for Verification & Validation teams during the plant verification and validation phase, ensuring design choices minimize field activities and simplify migration management

Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering. ,

Experience or understanding of Application Design. ,

Knowledge of Signalling Principles and Rules. ,
