JOB TITLE: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE PLANNER - BOKSBURG - limited duration

Alstom Rolling Stock South Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Planner for our Traxx Africa project based in Boksburg. 

THE PURPOSE OF THE FACILITIES MAINTENANCE PLANNER ROLE IS TO:

The purpose of the Facilities Maintenance Planner is to ensure the efficient and affective scheduling and co-ordination of maintenance activities to maximise the reliability, safety and performance of equipment and facilities.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE:

• Maintenance Scheduling
• Resource Allocation
• Work Order Management
• Preventative Maintenance Planning
• Downtime Reduction
• Safety Compliance
• Cost Optimization
• Data Analysis & Reporting
• Collaboration
• Compiling of Scope of Work and Technical Specs

THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: 

• Qualified Artisan (Electrician, Fitter, Boilermaker, Technician)
• Excel Intermediate
• Excel Advanced - advantageous
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with construction equipment and machinery.
• Strong communication and computational skills
• An eye for detail
• Team spirit
• Exposed to Rolling Stock Environment
