Could you be the full-time Bid Manager in Katowice we’re looking for?

 

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Andrzej (Senior Bid Manager based in Katowice) and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

You'll be responsible for overriding aim is to deliver an offer which meets the customer requirements, optimizing competitiveness while mitigating risks whilst adhering to the guidelines of Alstom Group. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with the Business Development & Tendering Department - works together with the bid team you’ll find the optimal way to win the order whilst ensuring ability to execute within schedule, allocated budgets and scope to the required quality. You’ll also undertake leading major pursuits in the rail industry and understanding market’s channels to strengthen our team and having an ambition to build the next phase of our business.

You’ll specifically take care of customer relationship management as key to have substantial stakeholder management experience to develop strong relationship with both internal and external customers.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Managing the bid team: structures and organizes the Bid Team, runs all necessary meetings to ensure the Bid Strategy is understood by all stakeholders, manages the bid schedule, budget and progress, regular reporting to management, oversees the production of cost benchmarks and manages cost optimization phases
  • Ensuring bid cost optimizations all along the bid preparation
  • Transferring all materials and Bid phase knowledge to the project execution team, bringing the execution team up to speed on the project and ensuring adequate support from the bid team for the execution team during the execution phase launch process
  • Responsible for adequate communication with the other sub-teams and commercial/internal partners.

  • Degree in or passion for Engineering, Financial, Legal or Business Administration background or equivalent
  • Familiarity with in cross functional bids
