Could you be the Working Student for our Patent Department (m/f/d) in Berlin we’re looking for?

 

Your future role


Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom’s DACH regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalisation. Our Corporate Functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites.

 

As a Working Student in the Patent Department, you will support intellectual property activities with a strong focus on data migration, system validation, and patent administration. You will work closely with experienced IP professionals in an international and collaborative environment. Join us if you are curious, rigorous, and communicative, with an affinity for IT and an interest in intellectual property and digitalisation.

 

We’ll look to you to:


•    Support data migration and validation for the new ANAQUA IP management database
•    Check and validate functionalities and workflows within the IP database
•    Support the development of training materials
•    Provide administrative support in patent-related matters
•    Capture and digitalize relevant patent data
•    Support administrative activities within the IP Photo project

 

All about you


•    Enrolled student in Engineering, preferably Transportation or Vehicle Technology
•    Basic knowledge of Patent Management
•    Knowledge of IP software such as Patricia or IP Strategy / Legisway is an advantage
•    Strong affinity for IT and digital tools
•    Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
•    Curious, rigorous, lively, and communicative working style
•    Fluent in English and German (essential); French is a plus
