Working Student - Controlling - Region FP&A (f/m/d)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team as a working student. The FP&A working student will support the budgeting process, prepare monthly financial reports, and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and reliable financial data.

About the working student role (3 months):

1. Budget Coordination & Monthly Reporting:

   • Assist in coordinating and preparing the annual budgeting process.
   • Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and explanations.

2. Cost centre structure / setup:

   • Support a project to optimize our setup of cost accounting and reporting in SAP.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   • Coordinate with different clusters and functions to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

4. Reporting & Analysis:

   • Prepare relevant monthly reports, including analyses and explanations of financial trends and results.

5. Accounting Period End:

   • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.

6. Support FP&A Analysts:

   • Assist FP&A analysts with data analysis and data modeling tasks as required.
     
     
     

     Qualifications:

     • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
     • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions).
     • Basic understanding of financial planning and analysis processes.
     • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
     • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
     • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

     Preferred Qualifications:

     • Previous internship or relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
     • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. PowerBI)
     • Knowledge of financial modeling techniques.
