Alstom Digital & Integrated Systems offers a wide range of services and products relating to signalling technology and infrastructure. In close cooperation with our worldwide product competence centers, we cover business development, sales and bid management as well as customer-oriented project management, homologation, system engineering, documentation, mechanical integration, installation, commissioning and warranty at our Berlin location.

Your future role

As part of the Service Engineering department you will:

  • Work closely with the Remote Diagnostic Tool (HealthHub Signalling) team to understand project requirements and implement automated deployment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning, configuration, and deployment across multiple environments (on-premises and cloud).
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications.
  • Deploy and configure applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Understand inputs, data processing steps, and data interfaces of components delivered by the HealthHub Signalling team to automate deployments.
  • Perform integration activities for new project baselines and ensure environment consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, configuration, and application performance.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong experience in DevOps practices, including automated deployments using Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Good programming skills in Python (Java and C# are a plus).
  • Familiarity with databases such as ElasticSearch, Postgres, and Cassandra.
  • Strong teamwork and dynamic personality.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
