Could you be the full-time VIE - Project Quality & Safety Engineer (m/f) in Berlin we’re looking for?
Your future role :
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality and safety expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring project safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, industrial, supplier quality), guide project teams on quality contributions, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of coordinating project quality activities and ensuring compliance with safety requirements, but also enhance problem-solving processes to reduce costs associated with non-quality.
We’ll look to you for:

Creating and ensuring the application of the Project Quality Plan in alignment with contractual and Alstom process requirements

Assisting in the evaluation of subsystem criticalities to ensure appropriate safety and quality assurance measures

Acting as the preferred interface for all project quality-related matters
-
Organizing quality awareness initiatives and providing training when necessary
-
Supporting project audits and regulatory compliance reviews
-
Managing non-conformities and safety issues while ensuring proper change management

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent

Experience with quality and problem-solving tools

Awareness of project processes and products
-
Familiarity with industry standards, laws, and regulations (preferred)

Experience in project, change, and configuration management (preferred)
-
Knowledge of DFQ, audit, and assessment management
-
Technical analysis skills, particularly in CONQ
-
Willingness to travel
-
Fluency in German and English (preferred)
