Could you be the full-time Total Reward Regional Director (f/m/d) for DACH region we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your HR expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to OFFTERMATT Peter (Vice President Human Resources DACH), and work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
Total Reward Regional Director is the single point of contact at regional level for Total Rewards and international mobility policies, programs, and processes deployment. He/She provide the vision, leadership, direction in regional level for these matters and act as a change agent to harmonize our practices across DACH region. He/She develops appropriate C&B practices for the countries in the region in line with corporate policies and local reality, in order that Alstom can attract, retain and motivate employees whilst optimising compensation structure.
We’ll look to you for:
- Managing the salary review and other compensations - Manage the regional organization sizing process, Co-Lead salary Survey once a year in connection with Group Comp team, Design proposals for senior managers increases during the year
- Handling Restructuring, retention and termination packages
- Coordinating Job evaluation and Job grading - Validate and approve of positions AG11 and below evaluations and individual ranking, Validate the sizing for company, country, units, Increase awareness on grading and job evaluation among HR community by leading training on Job evaluation and manager awareness
- Managing Short Term incentive and all compensations and benefits from DACH region - Design management of local incentive plan & coordinate with Finance for Financial Objectives. Review and validate C2 and below. Validate local plans & approve all deviation from guidelines.

- University degree, majoring in HR, Finance or Business.
- Significant experience in Compensation and/or benefits (5 – 7 years).
- Exposure to an international environment is a must.
- Management of large team.
- Computer literate, excellent level of Excel is mandatory for the role.
- Broad knowledge about economic context and labor market challenges.
- Fluent in German and English is mandatory for this role.
- Excellent business communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to make decisions/Sense of urgency.
