Your mission

As a Senior Bid Manager, you will lead the strategic Bids for the digitalization of the German Railway, driving for a greener mobility. Additionally, you will supervise the Bid Management team based in Berlin.

Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Bid Manager you will be
•    participating to Tender Gate Reviews, 
•    supporting Sales and Region leaders to define the Winning Tender Strategy
•    for Strategic bids, leading Bid activities and Bid Team until customer award 
•    together with Sales, negotiating contracts with customers

Additionally, you will supervise the local team based in Berlin with the following tasks:
•    be the first point of contact for the Head of Bid Management for Berlin site
•    coach and support junior colleagues in their daily tasks
•    participate in the People Management Cycle review for performance evaluation


Minimum qualifications:
•    Engineering degree and/or Business School
•    Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in industry, with experience in Tender / Bid Management. 
•    English and German business fluent


Ideally you have
•    experience in the field of railway
•    knowledge of Public Tender Process 
•    a first experience in people management
