We are looking for a Junior Regional HR Project Management Office (PMO) based in Berlin.




Purpose of the job: 

The Junior Regional HR Project Management Office (PMO) will be responsible to support all Regional HR activities and in particular support and track to ensure that HR projects are delivered on time, on budget with correct change management and stakeholder communication.


Main responsibilitites:

The Junior Regional HR Project Management Office (PMO) works in close collaboration with the HR Head of Transformation, HR PMO, Performance & Efficiency and plays an important role in the following areas:


HR projects:

  • PMO tasks for various HR topics
  • Support the delivery of transversal HR projects (this can be any ad hoc project within the HR sphere for example linked to Integration, Transformation, Reorganisation & Restructuring, Crisis Management) by:
    • facilitating creation of project plan, key milestones, action log
    • tracking (devising and managing a regular project reporting mechanism for the relevant HR and business leaders)
    • preparing and facilitating workshops incl. MoM and action plans
    • monitoring progress and escalating risks where appropriate
    • communicating progress
    • supporting change communications
  • Assist in the deployment of HR Global Programs
  • Support value capture and value creation initiatives for the HR function
  • Manage ad-hoc requests, consolidation and executive summaries


HR Efficiency & Planning / Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse HR data / HR KPIs  to oversee process performance and propose measures to improve process efficiency incl. establishing project plans and timeline to drive implementation of continuous improvement projects
  • Develop a good level of understanding of the business challenges, organization structure & workforce issues to identify relevant analyses and

offer meaningful insights based on the available data

  • Design and implement governance mechanisms to ensure regular review of documents and procedures
  • Support where necessary on global HR audits and data preparation
  • Train and coach others on the use and interpretation of tools, metrics and analytics and promote throughout the organization


Integration & People Engagement Experience Prerequisites

  • Act as Point of Contact for HR Convergence to:
  • Ensure the Regional convergence roadmap is implemented in due course
  • Monitor convergence KPIs for the Region
  • Deploy People Engagement initiatives at regional level and support on implementation
  • Drive & follow-up Employee Survey outcomes and region action plan 


Experience Prerequisites

  • University degree (or equivalent), possibly in HR, business studies, social science or economy
  • ~2 years of progressive experience in HR
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in running Projects; Change management initiatives
  • Preferably to have PM Experience / Skills
  • Experience of working in and with multi-national companies and in different business cultures is desirable
