Head of Internal Communications (m/f/d) for Germany in Berlin, Germany


As Head of Internal Communications in Germany your mission will be to ensure consistent information and communications towards employees, to support the business in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), to engage Alstom employees in fruitful discussions and be the driver for the motivation of internal stakeholders. You will be working in close coordination with the Management team and supporting all communications functions in the organisation.


•    Building and developing Alstom’s image and reputation towards internal stakeholders
•    Promoting the product and service portfolio to support the business through internal campaigns with thematic focuses
•    Supporting local management in engaging employees in line with Alstom strategy, reinforcing the sense of belonging to Alstom
•    Recognising what interests employees and how best to reach them for the company's issues
•    Managing internal communications teams, including communications relays on our sites
•    Overseeing and orchestrating internal newsletters, intranet, articles production and internal communication/conferencing tools 
•    Navigating the internal cultural change 


Internal Communications:
•    Manages all employees’ communications through cascading of central information, using Info Flash and Alstom TV channels, and escalating project milestones and overall social climate.
•    Manages Country/cluster MD internal positioning, advising messages and behaviour, with detailed action plan and execution.


Key requirements:
•    You hold university degree - specialization in Mass-Media/ Journalism or communication degree/certification will be an asset
•    You bring minimum 10 years experience in an internal communications role of an international company
•    You have strong experience in writing and editing, engaging with people and you come with a track record of change communication 
•    You are an excellent communicator, listener with strong written, presentation & facilitation skills
•    You initiate and manage communication and dialogue for employees to make them ambassadors of the company
•    You represent excellent customer focus
•    You are proactive and can respond to pressing issues and challenges with agility
•    You have previous (internal) event management experience 
•    Proficient English and German language skills
