As the Event Manager you will be responsible for the planning, organisation and coordination of internal & external events  in the DACH region.

 

Main Accountabilities:

Internal Events
•    Implement Alstom DACH events plan in coordination with Customer Directors and Communications Team
•    Coordinate the events: choose, manage and brief suppliers within guidelines, lead operational committees, interface with agencies and suppliers.
•    Define and manage budget for internal and external events.
•    Measurement success: provide systematic event measurement tools, analysis, feedback and advice to the relevant internal customer.
•    Work with external an internal communications teams to develop all messaging and content for internal events.

External Events
•    Responsible for organising and coordinating with the DACH and Corporate communications teams (Information – Brand - Finance communications), external events such as exhibitions, finance, customer or press events

 

Exhibitions
•    Organise, coordinate & facilitate exhibitions and customer events on behalf of Alstom DACH, with the Country communications & Marketing teams.
•    Follow messaging & graphic chart provided by the Brand Communications and the offering provided by the platforms. 
•    Choose, brief and manage suppliers within guidelines.
•    Manage the stand build up or the customer event preparation.
•    Coordinate on site with the country communications teams, the stand or the event.
•    Benchmark on best practices in all areas of events and tools.
•    Provide systematic event analysis, feedback and advice to the department.
 
Key requirements:
•    You hold university degree - specialization in Event Management or equivalent, Communications degree/certification will be an asset
•    You have strong practical experience in event management
•    You are a hands-on organising person
•    You are a good communicator
•    You are proactive and can respond to pressing issues and challenges with agility
•    You are efficient and creative in identifying errors and resolving them 
•    Proficient English and German language skills
