Your future role

Take on a new challenge and create innovative solutions. Have a direct impact to secure contracts in our highly competitive railway industry. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business trough several countries in Europe and many more. You’ll report to Lokesh Anand, Head of Bid Management D&IS, and work alongside international professional teammates. You'll shape our future success by influencing acquisition, client relationships and sustainable strategic growth. Specifically you take care of analysis of tenders, creation of the bid structure and development of commercial bid content.

 

We’ll look to you for

  • Analysis of our tenders, creation of our bid structure and development of commercial bid content
  • Initiation and facilitation of tender team meetings in accordance with our project management manual to ensure continuous information flow
  • Adherence to applicable rules and procedural instructions for our bid preparation
  • Establishment, adaptation, and tracking of our bid schedule and tender budget planning, preparation of risk assessments for bids, coordination and management of deliverables 
  • Presentation of bids and seeking validation from management
  • Examination and management of all bid documents with final checks to ensure high bid quality
  • Collaboration in contract development
  • Bid revisions during the negotiation phase
  • Ensuring a smooth transition into the project phase

  • Successfully completed a degree in business engineering, business administration, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of both business and technical aspects
  • Extensive professional experience in a similar role
  • Outstanding proficiency in bidding, sales, or product management
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary/intercultural teams
  • Confident, professional, and customer-focused approach
  • Demonstrates a structured work approach, high resilience, and a strong team orientation
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Highly proficient in MS Office
  • Willingness to travel
