Mission & Responsibilities

*is accountable for the Delivery of all Electrical System engineering outputs in compliance with the
engineering QCD commitment. As such, manages his project engineering team.
* Defines the global train system architecture, operational modes and functionalities taking as input
the external/internal requirements (System RSAD).
* Performs the transverse requirements (EMC, Acoustics, reliability, aero, weight....) allocations to
the various train subsystems (TSS) in close collaboration with the Train Design Engineer and Train
Propulsion Engineer and CVCW (RAMS).
* Derives from the system RSAD and TRS the subsystem functional requirement specification (FBS
intermediate level excluding "propulsion" functionalities). Manages the requirement specifications
consistencies (interfaces) as well as the technical relation with internal/external suppliers
throughout the development.
* Defines in close collaboration with all engineering metiers the Trains validation specification
describing how the related functions/performances are to be checked. Submits them to CVCW for
review. Reviews the validation procedure and reports for components and subsystems
written by CVCW.
* Leads the electrical design (ESP) including train electrical schemes and wiring
