Site Finance Controller

Could you be the Site Finance Controller that we’re looking for located in Belgrade?

You participate in overall Project Management process jointly with Project Director. As a key member of the project, you provide financial analysis, advices and guidance to support the project team in making the best business decisions for the project. You are the main partner for the Financial Strategy success of the project, contributing in negotiation processes to secure project success. You support the Project Director in risks and opportunities process and sign-off contingencies/committed savings. You are part of the Finance organization and covers the entire project lifecycle, i.e. acquisition, bidding and execution.

Key accountabilities:

• Participate in overall Project Management process jointly with Project Director.
• Main partner for the Financial Strategy success of the project.
• Business partnering
• Raised "Early Warnings" when necessary to increase management attention
• Control the interflows of Internal purchased orders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes.
• Establish strategic network with external financial players involved in the project.

Reporting and coordination

• Set the environment to collect, consolidate, analyze and validate financial data in order to produce actual budget and forecasts, draw conclusions on variances of resource allocation and recommend corrective action
• Validate the financial structure of the locations (processes and systems) in order to satisfy all internal and external requirements.
• Comply with the reporting definitions of Alstom guidelines in order to provide consistent and informative management information and ensure compliance with Internal Control

Educational Requirements

Mandatory

Master’s in Business school, engineering school or university equivalent

MBA and/or Master’s Finance would be appreciated

Experience

Mandatory

Fluent in other languages is a plus

• + 5 to 10 years’ experience in Finance
• An auditing and/or project operational background would be an advantage
• Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Fluent in English
• Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, knowledge of SAP
