Could you be the full-time Intergration & Interface Manager in Belgrade we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in system interface management to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and solution-driven teammates.

You'll play a key role in defining and managing all interfaces between Electro-Mechanical (E&M) Subsystems, such as Rolling Stock, Signalling, Supervision, Telecommunications, Passenger Information, CCTV, Power Supply, and Ticketing, ensuring seamless integration within Alstom’s contracts and partnerships. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, subsystems teams), define interface management processes, and ensure alignment with system needs and contractual requirements.

You’ll specifically take care of defining Interface Control Documents (ICD) by pairs of subsystems and leading their production in coordination with the subsystems, but also managing the detailed interface definitions and obtaining stakeholder agreements, including client approvals when required.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining the system interface management process, including interface identification and maintaining the interface register
  • Creating and managing Interface Control Documents (ICD) in collaboration with subsystem teams
  • Ensuring consistency of interfaces in line with contract and system requirements
  • Coordinating and managing the detailed definition of interfaces
  • Facilitating agreement among stakeholders and securing client approvals as needed
  • Fostering effective communication and collaboration across subsystems

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Field experience and a good understanding of railway systems, available E&M equipment, and subsystems
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering or technical roles within railway projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and effectively negotiate with subsystem teams
  • A good level of English and proficiency in contract language
  • Proficiency in interface management processes
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our inclusive and flexible working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Progress towards broader leadership or specialist roles
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
