Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial acumen and strategic thinking expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the financial success of our projects, from optimizing financial strategies to providing valuable insights that drive project performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Contract Managers, Procurement Teams), provide financial advice and tutoring, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of controlling project financial performance and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, but also supporting negotiation processes and partnering with external stakeholders.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Participating in the overall project management process alongside the Project Manager
  • Optimizing financial aspects of the project, including organization, tax, hedging, and financing
  • Providing financial advice and mentoring to project teams to create value
  • Ensuring compliance with finance rules during project reviews and execution
  • Supervising, analyzing, and supporting finance-related topics for the project
  • Controlling financial performance and proposing action plans to improve contract margin and cash flow
  • Raising "Early Warnings" to increase management attention when necessary
  • Challenging and approving project financials in line with the Delegation of Authority (DoA)
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, particularly for tax and statutory accounts
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams, operational excellence teams, and financial partners
  • Supporting contract and claim management processes, focusing on financial risks and opportunities
  • Coaching Junior Financial Project Managers to develop their skills

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of project financial management
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and compliance
  • Familiarity with tax, hedging, and financing principles
  • A recognized financial certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
