Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and BIM expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and dynamic teammates.

You'll make a significant impact by ensuring seamless interface management between Civil Works and Electromechanical systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, construction, BIM coordination), lead the implementation of BIM good practices, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining interface control documents, managing integration processes with Civil Work contractors, and monitoring the design integration progress, but also coordinating communication and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining the interface and Interface Control Documents (ICD) relevant to Civil Work interfaces
  • Creating and validating the Civil interface report with Civil Work entities
  • Defining Civil Work integration processes, including CAD manuals, CSD, and BIM rules
  • Managing integration processes via Combined Drawings or within a BIM context
  • Piloting BIM management ramp-up steps for the project
  • Leading codification definition and metadata management with the Civil Work team
  • Organizing and coordinating Information Management with the BIM Information Manager
  • Monitoring design integration progress and ensuring alignment with contractual terms
  • Coordinating communication around the BIM model
  • Supporting construction managers in reviewing Civil Work delivery
  • Leading and enforcing BIM good practices within Alstom teams

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Consistent knowledge of railway systems, standards, and interfaces with Civil Works
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering or technical functions, including 3 years in managerial roles within international railway projects
  • Strong understanding of coordination processes
  • Knowledge of BIM concepts, including CDE implementation, metadata management, and ramp-up processes
  • Advanced BIM software skills
  • Professional experience in Civil Engineering and its interfaces with E&M fields
  • Fluency in English or the contract language
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with partners and clients
  • Understanding of BIM algorithmic programming and its potential benefits
