Your Future Role
In Bautzen, 1,200 colleagues manufacture S-Bahn, tram, and light rail vehicles, as well as high-speed trains, with a focus on final assembly, commissioning, and delivery. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Michael BECKER and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

You'll be at the forefront of ensuring supplier quality and driving continuous improvement in our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as SPQD, supply chain, and incoming inspectors), manage non-conformities, and oversee containment actions, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of supplier non-conformities and lead incoming inspection activities but also drive supplier performance improvement initiatives.
We’ll look for you to :
- Managing non-conformities, including informing suppliers, implementing securitization, and invoicing costs of non-quality (CONQ S1);
- Organizing retrofit actions and quality wall implementations when necessary;
- Securing and enforcing supplier corrective and preventive action plans;
- Driving supplier improvement roadmaps for non-performing suppliers;
- Conducting inspections for low-critical parts and ensuring control plan sustainability;
- Leading incoming inspection activities, including managing a team of inspectors and ensuring compliance with defined control plans.

- Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field;
- Experience or understanding of supplier quality management and non-conformity processes;
- Knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies;
- Familiarity with ERP systems and control plans;
- A certification in quality management or a related area;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
