If the answer is YES and you’re ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is a really exciting opportunity to drive your career as a Site Industrial Director at our site in Bautzen, Germany.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the Operational strategy and Industrial performance at one of complex manufacturing sites, managing multiple projects in an environment of change and transformation. You will be required to ensure the standardization and digitilization of the products in line with the business projects and goals, ensuring the highest performance across production, operations and manufacturing.


Ideally you will possess strong project management skills and have exposure to site or plant management, potentially with P&L experience.


Main Responsibilities include:
•    Organizing industrial costing for tenders ensuring that industrial assumptions are defined in line with the product ranges 
•    Validating industrial costing quotations 
•    Ensuring the proper transfer of the tender to the industrial execution team of the Train Development Site and Train Manufacturing Site
•    Managing industrial workload: anticipating and ensuring industrial operations team staffing
•    Providing industrial deliverables 
•    Leading the problem-solving approach when technical or operational issues arrive
•    Develop and manage your direct reports


Competencies & Skills:
•    Balanced skills between management, industrial management and project management
•    Strong leadership and ability to federate teams on technical orientations to reach Quality, Cost and Delivery targets
•    Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional activities and numerous/various stakeholders 
•    Ability for analysis, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environment 
•    Ability to work across sites in a multi-cultural environment
•    Fluent English & German
•    Significant experience in industrial operations including 3 years at project or site management level
•    Extensive industrial, supply chain and ideally, product and project/company background knowledge
