Your future role
The Fleet Improvements Manager is responsible for the management of all Fleet related change and improvement projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Project and Programme management, Supply Chain and External partners, defining and implementing all improvement projects and changes affecting the Fleet
We’ll look to you for:
- Support and aid control with the project design, installation, implementation and delivery governance of all Change and Improvements Projects (New/improved applications).
- Manage new/improved Fleet implementation projects which influence or impact fleet performance, costs, quality and safety.
- Support with the mobilisation of all new fleet projects.
- Manage the day to day of all fleet related projects, including fleet checks and monitor and ensure progression.
- Represent the Fleet Management as advisor for all ongoing projects.
- Working with the performance lead, propose areas for improvement to the Management team with justified business case, costings and delivery plan.
- Identify and or support cost savings opportunities with-in the fleet team.
- Report on the performance of Change Management processes using Key indicators and implement the necessary Actions
- Contributes to REX and suggests improvements of the CCM activities
- Prioritizes Change Requests in cooperation with requestor and other involved functions
- Ensures the completeness, correctness, clarity and timeline of Change Requests in cooperation with the Change requestor, throughout all stages of a change request
- Represent the Fleet Team at the Change Control meetings, raising Change Requests and seeing them through to conclusion
- Organizes and leads the fleet Change Dashboard
- Ensures the completeness, correctness, clarity and timeline of fleets Change Requests in cooperation with the Change requestor, throughout all stages of a change request.
- Monitor fleet change requests and align all project/program stakeholders on the changes.
- Prioritizes Fleet Change Requests in cooperation with requestor and other involved functions.

- HNC (or recognised equivalent) in relevant engineering/ project management field
- Technical experience and expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance techniques and principals
- Knowledge of rolling stock maintenance
- Working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment
- Experience in a maintenance Contract
- Strong Risk managements Skills
