Warranty Supplier Performance - Railway Sector

We’re looking for a Warranty Supplier Performance – Railway Sector for Santa Perpetua de la Mogoda, Barcelona to ensure customer and warranty requirements are correctly contracted and followed up with external suppliers.

Your role, your impact  

• Analyze customer requirements regarding supplier for warranty activities (spare, tools, consignment, etc.), in line with tender costing assumptions & supplier quotes (gap analyses vs costing & obligations) and propose mitigation action plan 

• Support Project Warranty Manager to contribute on customer requirements analysis regarding warranty supplier commitments. 

• Prepare any relevant documentation to reflect customer & internal warranty requirements and follow-up with procurement for proper integration/addition in supplier contracts / complementary Service agreement. 

• Participate actively to negotiation with each supplier to ensure good back-to-back with customer requirements. 

• Support back-charging process with relevant back-up warranty documentation. 

• Support Project Supplier Quality Manager for any action against a supplier. 

• Develop continuous improvement for Costs traceability, continuous improvement and Supplier chargeback awareness and application as a support to Region SER MDs/Region Warranty managers. 

• Contribute to claims and negotiations with external supplier (regarding warranty activities). 

• Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

What you bring 

• Graduate in Economy, Finance, Engineering or related.  

• Spanish (native) and English (intermediate or advanced level). Other languages: French (appreciated). 

• Experience of 3-5 years working with contracts and suppliers.  

• Desirable knowledge or experience in the railway sector.  

• Availability to move between Workshops and Centers. 

How success is measured  

• Costs charge back vs claims. 

• Supplier warranty coverage. 

• Documentation evidence for claims against suppliers. 

• Rejection rate of supplier claims. 

• 8D D4/D6 KPI on time
