WAREHOUSE & 3PL CONTRACT SERVICE MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

You are in charge of the internal logistic team, including a team of shift warehouse supervisors & logistic operators (Alstom employees or external provider), costing control, 3PL management and non conformities management. You lead and take care of the execution, physically and in the information system, of the counts & movements of materials required. The key function is to lead the relationship with the 3PL and ensure the global operational performance of the internal logistics in terms safety, delivery, quality and cost.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Logistics & 3PL Management:

• Plan & Manage Material Receipt & Stock Entry
• Manage Picking, Kitting & Line Feeding, ensuring orders are fulfilled on time in full (OTIF)
• Plan & Manage Packing, Shipping and collaborate with International Transport Team the Outbound Transportation
• Design & collaborate with Logistics Engineering the Supply Chain processes vs Industrial requirements
• Define subcontractors requirements and ensure the performance of the logistic partner
• Define in collaboration with Logistics Engineering warehouse layouts, its internal flows and storage policy
• Participate & collaborate with Logistics Engineering to define line feeding layout and kitting associated
• Follow up 3PL logistics operations performance & manage 3PL relationship giving support to the Logistic Operations Manager
• Transform the Logistics Operations, towards the excellence, looking forward to implement state of the art & innovative solutions
• Lead the deployment and provide support to logistics engineering projects related with new technologies and digital transformation
• Lead CIP (Continuous Improvement Plan) & achieve savings target related to continuous improvement
• Ensure the 3PL are fully accountable for the service levels & they meet the agreed KPI's
• Manage Scrap
• Design and/or validate operational procedures both internal and communicated by 3PL
• Ensure 5S in warehousing areas
• Communicate, collaborate, manage & solve daily issues with other logistic operation & supply chain teams, such us Production Line Schedulle Coordinators, Logistics Engineering, Project Supply Chain Leaders or Material Planners

• Identify Needs & Define Requirements, Contribute to External Standards Definition, Improvement & Validation, Manage Impact of External Standards on Processes & Tools, Manage External Standards & Regulations Deployment

Function Human Resources:

• Manage Jobs & Skills, Training & Qualification, Workforce, Staffing & organization, Leadership

Function Performance:

• Collect Site or Country Monthly KPIs, Manage Site or Country Improvement Action Plan, Review Site or Country Monthly KPIs

 MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher or univertity studies related to the position
• Team Management
• > 5 years experience in a similar position.
• Spanish & English
• SAP & datas analysis strong Experience
