Could you be the full-time Senior Project Configuration and Change Manager in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona) we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your change management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll master the quality of deliveries by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability of the delivered products and services through the application of Change and Configuration (CCM) activities in portfolio of projects, including projects with high criticality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (production, project management), be accountable that all Project/Program stakeholders apply the CCM process and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of keeping the project/program configuration under control and manage changes during the whole lifecycle of the Project or Program, but also managing the team of Project Configuration and Change Managers in Barcelona/ Santa Perpetua Site.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leads the Configuration and Change Management (CCM) for a project.
  • Is accountable and reports on CCM Performance Indicators on site; derives and manages actions (PDCA).
  • Represents the CCM Métier in project and site meetings.
  • Leads the application of Configuration and Change standard procedures, instructions, templates, tools etc. and ensures that team members do not bypass them.
  • Ensures the execution of CCM audits and DfQ Gates for CCM deliverables.
  • Performs REX for CCM and leads improvements of the CCM activities on site.
  • Ensures the activities and Roles & Responsibilities defined in the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) are applied and followed.
  • Evaluates and provides or approves the compliance statement on all CCM related requirements (i.e. customer, partner and internal).
  • Promotes the Alstom Code of Ethics and adheres to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

  • Graduate of University degree in any of Engineering/Project Management/Business Management or equivalent.
  • Expert knowledge of Configuration & Change Management.
  • Leadership skills to coordinate a team of professionals engaged in specific tasks related to CCM. As such drives change, is a team contributor and sets a good environment for team colleagues.
  • Comprehensive communication and negotiation skills and the ability to guide, influence and convince others even without formal leadership.
  • Detailed knowledge and/or previous experience of Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrialization, Data Management and Document Control inter-related with CCM.
  • Detailed knowledge of Alstom configuration & change processes and related processes of contributing Métiers/ / Functions.
  • Above 5 years of experience in a configuration and change management role
  • Work experience in an international environment.
  • Desirable: experience in the entire CCM lifecycle of a Project/Program.
  • Desirable: CMII Certificate
  • Fluent English language skills; Spanish an advantage
