Could you be the full-time Quality Technician for the Carbodyshell Workshop in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona) we’re looking for?

 

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your quality expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll ensures the compliance of products and parts delivered by the ALSTOM facilities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (production), perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on products ready for delivery and on products during their manufacturing process according to control plan per project and internal procedures (highlighting special processes) and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of challenging the measuring system to reduce time and analyses the results performing root cause analysis.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework).
  • Dimensional measurements of the manufacturing parts (with laser / scan equipment).
  • Perform destructive & non-destructive examination when required.
  • Maintain inspection records per component, assembly, and vehicle.
  • Maintain Quality documentation for components, assemblies, and vehicles.
  • Participate in customer joint inspections.
  • Preparation of approval documents.
  • Control the correct calibration of critical equipment's and instrumentations used in the inspections.
  • Analysis, studies and investigations of quality defects or process problems.
  • Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspections
  • Escalate the incidents detected on the production lines and ensure their effective treatment.
  • Improve the actual measuring system.

  • Associates degree, technical major preferred.
  • Must be able to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment.
  • Technical knowledge of laser measurement equipment
  • Problem solving.
  • Medium Level of English.
  • +4 years quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry.
  • Awareness on processes and products delivered in the project.
  • High experience in laser measurement systems
  • Desirable Knowledge in new technical dimensional measurements (laser / scan technologies).
  • Desirable Knowledge of railway industry.
  • Desirable Experience in Quality / Audit.
