Could you be the full-time NDT Regional Expert in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona) we’re looking for?

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your NDT expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll establish, review and validate NDT procedures and instructions (for specific applications). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (production, special processes), review and challenge NDT procedures and instructions for the Sites of the Region and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of coordinating NDT activities in Santa Perpetua Plant, but also giving support to another plants in Europe.

 

We’ll look to you for:

•            Be aware of the evolutions of the standards of the Region 

•            Support the selection at site level of the right NDTs

•            Support innovation by developing new NDT applications for the sites of the Region based on local needs

•            Supervise, provide guidance and mentoring to NDT personnel (from subcontratcting company)

•            Perform NDT assessments on the sites of the Region to ensure the compliance to NDT standards and Alstom procedures and guidelines

•            Ensure L3 are available on the sites dealing with NDT

•            Support root cause analysis and investigations upon Operations request

•            Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools

•            L2 in NDT Methods (Ultrasonic Testing and Radiography Testing) with 5 years of experience.

•            Desirable Level 3 according to ISO 9712 or ASNT in the NDT methods visual testing, magnetic testing, penetration testing, ultrasonic testing, Radiography testing

•            Desirable welding engineer / welding technician (IWE/IWT)    

•            Desirable Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
