Could you be the full-time Infrastructure System Department Head in Bangkok we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and motivated teammates.
You'll play a critical role in shaping and leading an engineering team to achieve operational excellence and deliver innovative solutions for the future of mobility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project managers, HR, and technical experts), oversee project execution, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing the engineering vision for your department and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration, but also ensuring the alignment of resources and workload to meet project objectives.
We’ll look to you for:

Defining and implementing the engineering vision, including team development, technology evolution, and department competitiveness

Setting clear team goals, delegating tasks, and establishing deadlines

Providing support for project and program execution
-
Promoting Alstom’s values and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation

Motivating, evaluating, and developing team members, in collaboration with HR
-
Recognizing high performance and rewarding accomplishments
-
Developing the growth of World Class Engineering (WCE) experts

Ensuring the deployment and improvement of processes, methods, and tools within your scope

Contributing to the Reference Library and improvement roadmaps to enhance competitiveness
-
Overseeing workload forecasts and capacity planning, leveraging subcontracting and business strategies

Participating in tender design reviews and documentation reviews
-
Committing to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets for your domain

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field

Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams

Strong understanding of engineering processes, methods, and tools

Familiarity with project/program management practices

A leadership or management certification (preferred)

Excellent communication and motivation skills

Ability to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
