Could you be the full-time Turnkey VTA Manager in Bangkok we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.
You'll develope the VTA métier in APAC, lead the VTA activities for the local led tenders and support on going region projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business prepare Tender deliveries for VTA activitiesand much more.
You’ll specifically take care of provide support on pre-tendering and tendering activities, as well as on project execution
We’ll look to you for:
- Develop and support project VTA / T&C teams based in the APAC region
- Maintain and improve methods and tools used in the VTA / T&C process and monitor their implementation
- Act as VTA / T&C Manager during some project start phase (onshore / offshore) when necessary
- Ensure that Alstom VTA / T&C review process is known and applied on projects
- Ensure that the EHS standards applicable to Test and Commissninning are known and applied on the projects

- Degree in Engineering
- Broad knowlegde of the subsystems / products in Turnkey projects
- Extensive knowledge of the rail environment and engineering practices is required
- At least 8 years of experience of the field of VTA and T&C (with emphasis on railway system) ideally with one experience as VTA manager or T&C manager on a project till in service.
- Understanding of Operation procedure
- Good IT skills and have appreciation of an engineering / design / production environment and associated documentation is essential.
- As a potential candidate you have both resilience and capability to work under pressure, with a strong sense priority.
- Open dialogue, create enthusisasm, promote both collaboration and pro-active listening
- Essential to this role is also the ability to apply Alstom processes, values and E&C
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) and/or other language is a plus
