Could you be the full-time Track Switches Engineer in Bangkok we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

 

You'll primarily responsible for Monorail Switch design and site installation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business produce Monorail Switch installation package and provide fully operational switches for the Pink and Yellow Line Projects, Bangkok, Thailand and much more.

You’ll specifically act as main interface between signaling, COMMS, Civil and other internal parties for Pink and Yellow Line Monorail Switches.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Review Civil Alignment, architectural and M&E drawings and provide feedback to external parties for switch related interfaces and layouts, cable routing and specific installation requirement, following international codes and standards.
  • Produce Monorail Switch Control and Logic software and related documents.
  • Produce installation documentation and Lead the Monorail Switch installation at site
  • Take an ownership of the Monorail Switch function and operation at site following mechanical and electrical switch installation.

 

All about you

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering,  Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
  • 5 plus years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably with Railway system.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
  • PLC programming, FEA design/analysis, Machine design
  • Fluent in English, and fluent in contract language
  • Good co-ordination and communication
  • Knowledge of APM Monorail Track Switch technology
  • Knowledge of APM Monorail Track Switch standard
