Could you be the full-time System Architect in Thailand we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in overseeing the overall quality, costs, development lead time, and system/product performance, including safety demonstrations when required. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as RAM, safety, cybersecurity, sub-system, software, hardware, and validation & verification teams), analyze input needs and requirements, and design solutions to meet project goals, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of proposing system/product specifications, optimizing and measuring system/product performances, and ensuring the deployability of your system/product by projects.
We’ll look to you for:

Contributing as a key member of the project/program engineering team

Applying processes, methods, and tools as outlined in project/program plans

Collaborating with the System Architect and Program Development Manager/Project Engineering Manager/System Deployment & Integration Manager to contribute to system/product design and specification

Analyzing, clarifying, and confirming input requirements and needs
-
Conducting conceptual design, including system models, design studies, and technical de-risking
-
Partnering with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts and solve interfaces
-
Formalizing and maintaining system specifications and ensuring traceability of documentation

Participating in technical reviews and supporting the implementation of design revisions

Contributing to continuous improvement and workload estimations

Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

Degree in Engineering – IT, Computer Science, ECE, EEE, or equivalent (mandatory)

Knowledge of (Model-Based) System Engineering

Understanding of product and domain knowledge

Ability to work transversally with engineering teams

Experience with design for safety, cybersecurity, and RAM compliance

Proficiency in requirement management and writing
-
Skills in concept generation, system architecting, and system interfaces
-
Strong English communication skills
-
Ability to influence and guide others effectively
