Software Tool Developer

Purpose of the job:

Railway Signalling Systems are made of various subsystems to operate the train and wayside equipment. Testing Signalling Systems in factory laboratories or at site are necessary steps to ensure high level of quality and safety of equipment before handover to customers. These testing activities rely on Software Tools to acquire and analyse data, and to simulate Railway equipment. Alstom Bangkok is looking for Software Tools Developer having a deep interest in applying recent software development technologies to the Railway industry. You will work in a global team to ensure Software Tools will meet all expectations from users.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deliver full stack software within a complex software platform.
• Manage the configurations and deployments of the applications.
• Participate in technical meetings with System and Software engineers based in Bangkok and Pittsburgh (US).

Education:

Bachelor or Master of Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information System, Telecommunications or related field.

Skills:

• C#
• Web development experience (Javascript, Blazor, GraphQL)
• Networking experience
• Docker deployment experience
• GitLab, EWM
• CI/CD configuration
• Language: Professional working proficiency (or above) in English is a must.
• Soft skills: Autonomous, thorough, team worker, curious, quick learner, communicative, resourceful.
