Purpose of the job:

Railway Signalling Systems are made of various subsystems to operate the train and wayside equipment. Testing signalling systems in factory laboratories is necessary before testing in real conditions at site. This factory testing relies on software tools and simulators integrated in a Standard Test Platform (STP). Alstom Bangkok is looking for a Software Developer having a deep interest in applying recent software development technologies (micro services architecture, event-driven workflow) to the Railway industry participating in delivering PaaS and SaaS. You will work in a global team to ensure STP will meet all expectations to make the lab environment as realistic as real Signalling System behaviour at site.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop scripts and application APIs  for test automation
• Design, develop and deliver full stack software within a complex software platform.
• Manage the configurations and deployments of the STP applications.
• Participate in technical meetings with System and Software engineers based in Bangkok, US, India, or France.

Education:

Bachelor of Computer Engineer, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information System, Telecommunications or related field.

Skills:

• Software development knowledges: Cloud computing, REST, SQL, NoSQL (Redis).
• Software infrastructure: VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Software programming: JavaScript, Python, Typescript, VueJs.
• Experience in Software test and Robot Framework is a plus.
• Language: Professional working proficiency (or above) in English is a must.
• Soft skills: Autonomous, thorough, team worker, curious, quick learner, communicative, resourceful.
