Could you be the full-time Software Tool Application Engineer in BANGKOK we’re looking for?

You'll share deep interest in recent software development technologies application to the Railway industry. You will work in a global team.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with our teams across the business to ensure the application/simulation meet all expectations to make the lab environment as much realistic as real Signaling System behavior for various projects and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of Developing script or source code for tools and simulators, but also Integrating system with simulator for Cityflo (Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) system) laboratory.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Cooperating with Wayside/Onboard system integration and test for fulfilment the requirements. 
  • Analyzing and assessing non-conformity report of tools and simulators.
  • Identifying areas of improvement, define relevant solutions.
  • Elaborating training kits to share knowledge to other team members.
  • Managing the configuration of tools and simulators.
  • Participating in technical meetings with System and Software engineers across regions to:
      • Ensure system, application and simulator is met the expectation
      • Analysis, troubleshooting in subsystem and system integration

  • Bachelor of Computer Engineer, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information System, Telecommunications or related field.
  • Experience or understanding of software application and configuration, embedding and computer hardware, programming and script Languages such as C/C++,C#, Python, XML, VB
  • Knowledge of Linux, Virtual Machine, Windows Server, Networking and protocols
  • Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices
