Could you be the full-time Senior Payroll Specialist in Thailand we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your payroll and compliance expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless payroll operations and compliance management for Thailand, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including HRMs/HRBPs, Finance Controllers, Treasury, and Accounting, to ensure payroll implementation aligns with our organizational guidelines. You will also collaborate with external stakeholders such as statutory authorities, payroll vendors, and compliance partners to maintain high standards of compliance and operational excellence.
You’ll specifically take care of payroll operations, compliance management, and expatriate payroll and taxation, but also contribute to process improvement and digitalization initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing monthly payroll operations and related compliance activities for Thailand.

Preparing and monitoring payroll-related budgets and providing variance analysis.

Implementing and strengthening payroll processes, ensuring adherence to procedures and training HR colleagues.

Representing the payroll team during audits and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

Handling statutory compliance, including withholding tax, social security, and other regulations.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance-related matters and notices.

Overseeing expatriate payroll and taxation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Driving the digitalization of payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree would be an added advantage).

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Experience or understanding of Thailand payroll processes, taxation, and compliance.

Knowledge of statutory compliance, including withholding tax and social security.

Familiarity with managing expatriate payroll and related tax regulations.

A systematic, detail-oriented, and process-driven approach.

Learning agility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

10 years of hands-on experience in managing payroll for large organizations (exposure to MNCs or shared services environments is a plus).
