Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your software development and system engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of rail mobility by delivering high-quality software solutions that power our advanced systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across design, development, testing, and project management, ensuring seamless integration and excellent performance of our systems, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing system requirements, designing software architecture, and implementing solutions using programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java, but also contribute to software verification and continuous improvement initiatives.

We’ll look to you for:

• Developing system requirement analysis, defining functional decomposition, architecture, and software specifications

• Designing and implementing ATS software using C/C++, Python, and Java

• Creating software documentation, such as impact analyses, software ICD, and design specifications

• Conducting design reviews and code reviews

• Developing module test cases for self-testing before delivering software to the verification team

• Contributing to project and change management activities, including raising change requests when necessary

• Supporting other assignments, such as site investigations and site testing

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Control System and Instrumentation Engineering

• 3-5 years of experience in software development

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java

• Experience or understanding of railway software development (desirable)

• Knowledge of vital or secure software development (desirable)

• Familiarity with software design principles and methodologies

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams

• Team management and collaboration skills
