Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.

You’ll play a pivotal role as a key member of the Services Management team, serving as the "Primary Project Interface" for all depot-based activities with the Pink & Yellow Project Team and the Customer's Representative. You'll lead the safety culture required to ensure Zero Lost Time Accidents (LTA). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to ensure the delivery of contractual obligations to the customer, oversee maintenance execution, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of ensuring consistent application of procedures and providing regular reports (KPIs) for onsite activities, but also ensuring that onshore routine Vehicle Testing and Commissioning is performed in compliance with Pink & Yellow Line contract requirements, laws, rules, regulations, and standards.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing the maintenance execution team and Health and Safety processes (AZDP) to achieve and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Delivering the agreed maintenance and service schedule to ensure the trains in the depots are ready for use and dispatched in line with customer requirements.

  • Ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out in a timely, logical, and cost-effective manner, following the maintenance plan requirements.

  • Efficiently allocating resources to execute daily planning with constant monitoring of hours allocation, staff attendance, overtime, rosters, annual leave, etc.

  • Ensuring all Maximo records are kept updated with the required level of information to ensure traceability.

  • Managing the budget and ensuring adherence to financial targets.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Maintenance Management, Rolling Stock Testing and Commissioning (T&C) Management, Overhaul Management, Depot Equipment Delivery and/or Maintenance, or Track Switches Delivery and/or Maintenance.

  • Knowledge of railway safety and railway maintenance practices.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Familiarity with Maximo or similar maintenance management software.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
