Could you be the full-time Material Planner in Bangkok we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and data management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring that materials are delivered on time and in the right condition to meet Alstom’s project and production needs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as sourcing, material planning management, and suppliers), monitor supplier performance, and drive improvement initiatives, among other responsibilities.

You’ll specifically take care of managing material planning documents for internal and external suppliers, but also ensure material master data accuracy and timely stakeholder communication.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Administering material planning documents and maintaining accurate data.

  • Coordinating with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.

  • Following up on material delivery and planning to mitigate risks and ensure on-time availability.

  • Monitoring supplier performance and driving improvement initiatives.

  • Creating reports, data visualizations, and performing data analysis to provide actionable insights.

  • Driving continuous improvement and leading digitalization initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.


All about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Arts, Humanities, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • 0–5 years of experience in roles such as Buyer, Purchaser, Expediting, Order Processing, Customer Service, or similar functions.

  • Understanding of supply chain concepts and continuous improvement processes.

  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP) is desirable.

  • Strong communication skills in English.

  • Conversational Italian (B1 level or above) is mandatory.

  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Power BI or Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
