Could you be the full-time Infrastructure Subsystems Design Engineer (CRS/POS) in Bangkok we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

You'll performing the  Infrastructure Subsystems basic and detailed engineering activities in the environment and specialties defined. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business reporting of the design performance and of providing the Return of Experience to her/his scope of work and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of responsible for the basic engineering activities (validation of products configuration and production of project documents): General arrangements, layout rules, technical and functional specifications, configurations and interfaces specifications.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Responsible to produce the detailed design of the specialties defined: : equipment specifications, factory test procedure (FAT), technical drawings, installation drawings, bill of quantities (BOQ), etc.
  • In project execution or product/solution development, responsible for the QCD reporting and REX of her/his scope of work
  • Responsible for the respect of processes defined at management level: Engineering Management Plan, requirements management, configuration change management, risks management, interfaces management, etc.
  • Responsible for the respect of applicable regulations and standards in the design of the  Infrastructure Subsystems solution.

  • Degree in in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related filed
  • Broad and detailed knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements, available equipment and systems.
  • Engineering background on the Infrastructure Subsystems , with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills (teamwork and leadership) including with third parties (customer and subcontractors).
  • Decision-making ability
  • Analytical and critical thinking
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English, and fluent in contract language
  • Knowledge of the rail environment and engineering practices
  • Good co-ordination and communication
  • Experience in customer / supplier, client-side and supply side relationship 
  • Competence in infrastructure subsystems Design and Installation
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interface.
  • Skill on subsystems used in railway project. 
  • Capable of looking on global picture (integrated tests); and
  • Well aware of sequence of tests to be able to build a working program.
