Purpose of the job

  • To execute/coordinate all the technical tasks assigned to the engineering organization inside a project team. Therefore a deep know-how of railway signalling principles, techniques and associated products (Interlocking, Traffic Management System, Safety, Quality etc.), as also experience in this field, is required.
  • To coordinate a group of people (among them maybe Work Package leaders) in order to share out the work and supervise their achievements.
  • To be the team to implement and test in ILS Application Engineering to perform Interlocking Site Application Product.
  • To support the team, work package, senior application engineering Team Leader to reach the department objectives.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Design, Implement and Test (manual and automatic test) of Interlocking Site data Product with quality and safety within the budget against the project scope and the project schedule.
  • Work on the relevant interfaces of Interlocking Products and other teams. Writing test scripts / framework according to the test specification (for tester)
  • Provide the evidences for the review results, test record or test report, impact analysis of the errors and writing the error reports or create NCRs.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication between individuals, team, Work Package and Team Leader.
  • Presenting findings errors / providing objective feedback to development teams, communicating findings to technical and non-technical colleagues

 

Education

  • Graduated in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Sciences

 

Relevant experience required

  • New graduated are welcome or Experience required 2 years
  • Experience in railway signalling fields will be advantage
  • Good team player, but also able to work under own initiative
  • Self-starter, good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and work well with deadline and can work overtime if required
  • Have a good understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Familiarizing in Configuration management and Requirement management tool will be advantage.
  • Have good knowledge in Basic Programming and Logical Thinking
  • Have Basic SQL Command
  • Experience in Coding and Decoding will be advantage
  • Committed to undertaking on-the-job training programs
  • Understand test methodology and have skills and experience in C languages, SQL, Python and Software Testing will be advantage
  • Skill in Unix, Linux and Network & Communication will be appreciated
