Your future role

You'll be responsible for industrializing the maintenance at the Depot, in order to secure the production deliverables of the project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business set up industrial process improvement related to industrial efficiency, quality, safety, ergonomics, EHS, continuous improvement and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of ensure Railway Safety and EHS, AZDP standards are respected but also ensure Industrial efficiency monitoring industrial times and performance.

We’ll look to you for:

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Deliver significant improvements and value add to Services platforms and identification of the core opportunities and deployment of Asltom Fleet management system
  • Identify internal CAPEX needs.
  • Participate in MoB (Make or Buy) analysis to improve the project costs.
  • Identify internal training needs. Help developing & implementing training.
  • Ensure proper execution of industrial strategy in the operation

 

Industrialization

  • Ensure the consistency of all Industrialization functions for 1 project (Tooling, Industrial data, Industrialization & Methods)
  • Manage commitment for industrial documents (i.e. work instructions, task sequences…) for maintenance, Renovation & Modernization.
  • Identify the needs in terms of Safety, EHS, special processes, Q alerts, etc. in production operations.
  • Manage team in charge of equipment, jigs & tools.
  • Give technical support to operations.
  • Manage industrial data team for MMIS (SAP industrial data set up, parts, tools, BOM, routings…)

Industrial Standards

  • Deploy & ensure compliance with central standards: Lean tools, EHS (i.e. ergonomics), special processes, IT tools.
  • Implement Asltom Fleet management system for Industrial function (process and organization)
  • Give REX to industrial network (central & depots) to improve standards.

Industrial performance

  • -KPI: Industrial dashboard consolidation & improvement/     
    • Productivity, workload optimization, NAV time reduction.     
    • Method time reduction.     
    • Avoid over maintenance.
  • Alstom Performances System (APSYS) follow up and improvement scoring rodamap.
  • Share & implement best practices with industrial network.
  • Give REX to platform in order to improve LCC cost.
  • Manage action plan to achieve continuous improvement in SQCD     

Management

  • Animate the industrial teams (Tools management, data management & Procject Industrialization) from the projects & operations within their scope
  • Develop industrial population skills to fulfill project industrial requirements
  • Deliver the industrial QCD budget.
  • Provide excellent leadership, direction and effective management of the team’s/ project team’s resources, ensuring professional standards and best practice act as key drivers within a culture of continuous service improvement.

Educational Requirements

- Graduate engineering background with 5 years’ experience in the railway industry

- or technical background with 8-to-10-year experience in the railway industry

- Ideally experience within an international organization.

Desired Knowledge / Experience

- 10-15 years’ experience in relevant roles within the lean manufacturing industry

- Good knowledge of industrialization tools and methods and techniques

- High comfort level and proficiency with Total Quality Management, Safety and Environmental systems, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools and processes

- IT literate ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Process systems and digital tools as MMIS (ERP), Executions systems, innovations and digital solutions, Integration systems.

- Languages : Country language  + English
