Responsibilities:

As the Bid Technical Lead, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering estimations for bids within predefined timeframes. You will contribute to product development and establish methodologies for benchmarking, cost optimization, and improving estimation accuracy. This role serves as a critical interface between the Bids & Sales department and engineering teams.

• Understand contractual deliverables and requirements during the bid phase.
• Collaborate closely with System Architects and Pre-Tendering Leads to define the solution to be delivered.
• Partner with the Sales department to deliver bids and assess new business opportunities.
• Collect and consolidate man-hour estimates from each subsystem.
• Gather and integrate Bill of Material (BOM) inputs from relevant teams.
• Ensure risks and opportunities are accurately identified and documented.
• Prepare technical documentation to support bid submissions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering or a related discipline).
• Experience in railway signalling systems.
• Strong willingness and ability to learn new concepts and technologies.
• Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
