Purpose of the job
The wayside specialist shall be responsible for leading the improvement initiatives and closing the knowledge gap for the team member
Key responsibilities
System Requirement Management:
- Design and Take ownership for System Requirements that fit with our customer needs
- Develop System Architecture and Operation Scenarios and communicate/assist team members for system requirements clarification
- Responsible for maintaining the System Requirements Specifications
Interface Management:
- Run workshops and presentations related to requirements for the development and test teams
- Participate in design and safety reviews related to system level documentation
- Participate in CCB during the entire project
- Involved in NoBo activities (for example handling requirements and corresponding traceability)
Product Management:
- Participate in the system engineering cooperation forum
- Distribute issues/findings related to requirements to other relevant products/projects
- Participate and/or support the Product Owner in technical decisions
- understand the requirements of EN 50128 and other relevant CENELEC standards
Product Development:
- Implement software according to System Requirement
- Verify and Validate the software to fit its intended purposes
- Analyse system functionalities and its errors in order to find the right solutions that server both safety and operational requirements and can be acceptable by customer
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Control System and Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Relevant experience required
- Experience in Software development or Signalling Wayside Design
- Minimum 5 year of experience in Signalling Wayside Development or Testing
- Good knowledge of Wayside functions
- Proficiency in Engineering processes/procedures of Wayside products
- Fluent in English
